How can we support leadership in Czechia?

I think that becoming a leader is not a simple way and there is a need for constant self-education. The word „leader“ is most often associated with the word „manager“, and I have to say that these two terms are not the same for me. The leader is a superstructure manager for me, let´s say, a very good manager. If I can afford to paraphrase former US President H.S. Truman, he said, "A good leader is the one who makes other people to do what they did not want to do, and finally love it." That's exactly the leader can be describes - it's just something more than a mere manager. And why am I talking about it? Because there are many schools in the Czech Republic, both state and private, offering management and marketing studies. I have also partly studied management, but my reservations are absolutely clear - they are still learning "about us, but without us". Management is being studied as if the people you are driving are machines or some animals that you must occasionally feed (motivate) and how to punish them and how to work with them. I do not know what the experience from foreign schools is, but I personally met very few managers who were real leaders in practice. It is still a superior position over workers. So I think it would be very useful for the students to learn about leadership at these types of schools – it means, they need not just drive the team from above but it is much more effective to become a leader. Certainly, it would be good for students to practice as many companies as possible and to know as many ways and types of leadership as possible.
