Is it worth paying more for organic food or is it just a scam?

If your concerned about the health of the overall environment then yes it most definetly worth paying more for organic, as the chemical fertilizers and pesticides take a great toll on the soil, which eventually leads to needing to rely on more and more fertilizer inputs to result the same yield. These inputs ultimately end up in the water cycles. The use of these chemicals also contribute to the desrtification of the soil, by where the soil can no longer support plant life.
