Around 3 million people from Syria reached Turkey after the civil war imploded. The main aim of most of the Syrians after their arrival in Turkey is to cross the sea and enter into Europe. Many Syrian refugees undertook voyages and reached Europe, although many of them lost their lives.

In 2016, EU offered Turkey a good amount funds and in return Turkey had to hold all the Syrian refugees who try to cross Greek border irregularly. After a year this deal came into action and all those who were trying to cross Greek islands were sent back to Turkey.

Though Turkey had given temporary protection to all the Syrian refugees, but they were allowed to work. But in 2016, Turkey issued work permits with many restrictions. Because many of the highly educated Syrians had already fled to Europe. Turkey was left with most of the laborers.

Turkey has allowed only those Syrians to apply for work permit who have valid offers from the employers. And an employer can hire only 10% Syrian employees. They also offer minimum wages to refugees. Due to this Syrians, who are still in Turk camps, could not bring their life on a track despite of governmental support.

Turkey should provide more and better work opportunities for the refugees along with better schooling facilities to their kids.
