Although global warming and the related effects are often focused on purely in respect of rising temperatures, when it comes to climate change, there are several other important issues which will negative impact the planet. NASA have predicted that forest fires will increase and this can directly affect not only human safety but also habitats and ecological systems. Other areas might see increased areas of drought, but these will also correspond with an increase of tropical storms both in intensity and frequency.

In some regions of course, the impact of climate change will not actually be negative because the temperature will rise and seasons shift slightly, resulting in longer growing seasons for some areas.

In other countries there are also predicted pro’s and con’s. For example, precipitation, otherwise known as rain, although initially predicted to increase in some regions and decrease in others, show that the long term influence is for increased amounts of rain generally dependant on season. This will result in the negative aspects of flooding, which again causes issues with not only human safety but also habitats and ecological systems, yet also positive effects where areas more susceptible to droughts might have seasons where heavy or prolonged storms encourages growth both in nature and agriculture.
