What will higher education look like in 10-20 years?

It could be a lot more modular than it is now, more individualistic and more personalsied.

These are traits that businesses are saying that customers want from them..Digital natives and Millenals...therefore it makes sence to think that these are some of the valles that modern parents will want schools to adopt.

There is now the technology in place to create more choice of learning and to allow children and parents to learn about specifics intra subject matter

I believe in 10-20 years, things will change drastically in education. Already, in the world of employment, traditional jobs are changing and even dissappearing altogether. This means that the education system for the younger generations will have to be updated to fit with the changing times, and to teach children on the new technologies and prepare them for the types of jobs that will be hot in demand. This means also teaching them the relevant skills that will be required. Looking at research and reports on the future, many sources are saying that collaboration and being collaborative will be a high demanded skill, as well as adaptability. Tech and science related jobs are also growing and there is known to be a gap in the current education system of teaching Tech to young females for example. I think that in 10-20 years this gap will be fixed, and teaching to boys and girls will be equal, and the gendering of education topics/job positions will become a thing of the past with both sexes being taught as one rather than two different types.
