Will education be provided by robots/artificial intelligence one day?

Will education be provided by Artificial Intelligence? In my opinion, not any time soon. At least for the near future, I think human teachers will continue to be the best way to teach human students! However, I think we can absolutely expect AI to be an important tool to enhance and augment teaching. We’re on the cusp of seeing new tools emerge which will draw from Artificial Intelligence and neurotechnology to provide truly personalized learning, tailored to each students’ passions, capabilities and unique ways of thinking. When the technology can learn about and respond to our thoughts as we learn, we’ll arrive at more efficient and optimized ways of passing on knowledge. We may even soon see human brain interfaces emerge which allow students and teachers to share information directly from mind to mind. This sounds far-fetched but consider that Facebook and Neuralink (an Elon Musk company) are currently developing technologies to share information directly from the mind. For better or worse, we are closer to this than many might imagine.

Software can become more intuitive certainly and it will including software in the education sector.

Perhaps more developed webcams will allow for the full aspects of people interaction to be provided within education and providing remote facilitation of needs.

However if it's acknowledged in business and science that a very high percentage of communicaton is derived from body language then the queston 'Will education be provided by robots/artificial intelligence one day?' becomes slightly facious nonsence.

Or perhaps it will if you feel that the only form of education suitable is that formed by IT centric people and the American start up community

Looking around at how fast Technology is growing, and how in some cases it is changing people's lives, it's a good question to wonder how it will affect education in the near future. Already, jobs are being taken over by artificial intellegence and robots, for example Henn ma hotel in Japan (if you haven't heard of this check it out here: https://www.curbed.com/2017/8/25/16201928/robot-hotel-japan-henn-na

This is a hotel entirely run by robots!

Looking at education, already it is possible to learn online, and miss lectures as everything is provided online in your student account anyway - which in our parents generation would have seemed like something out of a sci-fi movie, yet it is our reality and we think nothing strange of it. Already, education has clearly been impacted by technology and artificial intelligence, and I believe it will continue to evolve in the future. Perhaps robots will be there to learn from? I think they may work alongside us in education, however I'm not sure if human teachers will be completely out of the picture (at least I hope not!)...
