In Lithuania, as an ex-CCCP country, leadership can been growing all the time since the country has gained independence in 1991. The ways to support leadership in Lithuania have been mainly through social interactions and businesess where companies, both private and governmental, started doing business and trade deals with other companies outside their comfort zone due to competition from outside borders. In order to achieve sustainable goals, leaders, in their organizations, had to improvize and start actually leading and motivating their teams to step up against cultural barriers and succesfully integrate into the global market. A way to support leadership in Lithuania is to continually provide support for organizations and their leaders by introducing new courses, through education, evolving new business models and strategies that would make them move up their game and adapt, and therefore, improve organizational leadership.
