Is climate change happening in all places on Earth in the same intensity?

No, climate change is not happening at the same intensity in all places on earth. The most extreme climates on the earth are experiencing climate change at a much more rapid and damaging rate. This includes deserts, ice caps, rainforests, and tropical zones, among others. These sensitive areas experience the affects of climate change at a much quicker rate than other areas. Rising temperatures causes ice to melt, coral bleaching, ocean desalination, and rising water levels. It also affects animal life (polar bears, penguins, fish, turtles, insects, cetaceans, sharks, etc.) as many creatures are having a hard time adjusting and adapting to rapidly changing temperatures and environments. While vulnerable areas are the most affected now, this will expand to all areas of the world if climate change is not slowed, and hopefully, stopped.

No. There are parts of the world more severely affected by climate change than others. One such part of the world is the Pacific. Some small island states have been so severely affected by rising sea levels that it is doubtful that they will continue to remain viable. I spent five years working in the Pacific and I had the opportunity to speak with older people about what their island looked like when they were a child. I remember one man pointing out at the sea and saying that he used to live there. In places like these, climate change isn't just an abstract and distant concept. It's something that is changing their way of life right now. I think their perspective is a crucial one. They are people undergoing the effects of climate change right now. Their voices should be heard.

Definately not. Climate change has different effects on different parts of the world. There is some concern and speculation that due to climate change, "hot" regions become even more "hotter" and "cold" regions become even more "colder".

Due to climate change, the changes of climate become drastical. This means that, in the nearest future, we can expect a lot of "strong" consequences as in worldwide events, that cause a great loss of human life, like cunamis, tornadoes, droughts, etc.
