Around twelve lac people arrived Germany in the year 2015 and 2016. They were all asylum seekers and after approval of their asylum the next challenge was their integration in new society. German government passed the integration law which was adopted in May 2016.

According to this law the refugees were provided with certain integration courses. Through these integration courses language and social norms are taught to the refugees. Places of residence were also assigned to the refugees by the government.

When an asylum seeker gains the status of a refugee he/she eventually gets a work permit. So they can earn by themselves as soon as they become the refugees. But according to integration act Syrian refugees can be employed and work during the processing time of their asylum application
