In 2010, the Foreign-Born population in the U.S. consisted of 40 Million people which was 12.9 percent of the population. In 1910, the numbers were 13.5 Million people and 14.7 percent respectively. The highest-percentage of 14.8 percent was touched in 1890.

In 2018, the U.S. population is 327 Million. According to projections based on the 2010 Census, U.S. population in 2050 would be 400 Million. The projection for 2060 is 31 percent Hispanic(of any race) while Non-Hispanic White Alone is projected to be 43 percent. Looking at race, White Alone is projected to be at 69 percent in 2060, Black Alone at 15 percent and 8.2 percent for Asian alone. People of Two or More Races are projected to be 6.4 percent in 2060.

In 2032, population growth is projected to be driven more by Net International Migration than by Natural Increase. Thereafter, Net International Migration is projected to be steady at about 1.1 Million people while Natural Increase is projected to dip from about 1.2 Million in 2032 to about 700,000 by 2044 until curving up again around 2050. In 2018, Natural Increase adds 1.6 Million people while Net International Migration adds about 800,000 people.

By 2050 the proportion of foreign-born Americans are projected to reach 20 per cent. By 2050 the Hispanic population is projected to nearly triple to 133 million and will account for 30 per cent of the United States population. The Asian population is projected to rise more than 9 per cent, making up 41 million US citizens. By 2050, it is projected that nearly 4 per cent of the US population will identify themselves as multicultural. American's whom identify themselves as either Asian, Native American, Hispanic, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander will in combination shift the American population to encompass 54 per cent of the US population. The US population is estimated to be 438 million in 2050. People of foreign origin in the US will constitute the majority of the population between the ages of 18 and 29.
