In fact what we are talking about is 3,000,000 people, distributed into every part of the country. They are allowed to use the same hospitals, same education institutions, same infrastructure with the locals. I see little children allowed to hop onto the public busses for free every day, it would not be tolerated if it was my child. No one dares to raise their voice to the refugees (some get citizenships, by the way) in order not to mistreat them and further their sufferings. Thus, frankly I find it very unfair whenever I see people raising criticism against Turks. Especially if the source of criticism is Arabic. Actually lately the European Council President Donald Tusk has praised Turkey’s treatment of refugees, saying “it is the best example for the whole world.” “Today Turkey is the best example for the whole world for how we should treat refugees,” Tusk said during a joint press conference with Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the southern province of Gaziantep.
