"Leadership" I think people often here this word and think on one person leading a group. This is a fitting description, however there is many leadership qualities that follwers can and should have.

Example: I was once a crew leader on a 12 day hiking trip. I was in charge of a group of 7. Of the group, I had two guys I knew I could always count on to get things done. I could deligate tasks to them and assign others to help them. There is many theories and words that can describe what happens in this scenario. But the question is Where they leaders?

Conclusion: It can become an argument of semantics. What is a "leader"? What is a "follower"? I am deciding to answer like this. Leadership = Personal responsibilty. When you take responsibility for yourself, you can then lead others. So as long as followers can take on responisbilty and lead others, they are leaders. Even if they are following someone else.

Please leave any feed back you have, this question begs many opinons.
