Will not other people take advantage of servant leadership?

Someone much smarter than me said: How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours (Wayne Dyer). I truly believe that. If someone wants to be an honest leader with no self-interest, that is great! World needs more of those. But of course, not everybody will understand that. We are not all the same. Some people care only about their interests, problems and they will certainly take advantage of it. Those people will be active citizens as long as it's in their best interest, thinking about their goals and maybe material gains, depending on what sphere they are into.

Also, they can join the civil society organizations just to use its resources, people and other things related to it. Later, when their needs being met, leave organization without paying attention to other goods that can be done for community.
