Will not other people take advantage of servant leadership?

Most often it is assumed that Servant Leaders can be taken advantage of. However, that’s exactly what differentiates a Servant Leaders from employees who can be taken advantage of. The idea of servant leadership emphasises on the all round development of the team and taking advantage of a servant leader would only result in more development. There is no way that one such leader is going to take up the work of a shirking employee and get it done for them. Rather a leader would identify and deploy ways in which the shirking employee can be helped with respect to getting the task accomplished.
