Lead by an example. Imagine a world where not everything is being measured by money or self-interest. That is only possible if human's perception on world in general is guided by spiritual and inner values instead of material things. We should all aspire to that. At the end of the day, it is not our bank account that defines us, but the way we treat others, and what we do for others knowing they can do nothing for us. Human behaviour is largely determined by behaviour of others, it is easier to get along with crowd than to stand out from it. But the thing is, we do not need to stand out, one good deed a day is enough, you never know who might see you doing that unselfish thing and then decides to act in a similar way.

This is great written! I totally agree with you. Today more often is everything measured by money or self-interest. Public interest and common good are not "popular" at all. That leads to people becoming demotivated to act and make some difference in society.
