Why should we choose passionate leaders over higher income?

Passionate leader will distribute his/her vibrant spirit throughout the organization. Everyone will look upon her/his and want to make as much contributions as they can give. When it’s only about money, you will start counting how much effort you’d give based on what you’re given. You only focus what task you’re appointed to and do it based on instruction. Just like a robot would. A passionate leader can make the members to start caring and investing feelings to the organization. They would become passionate to their work too. They would care for each other because they know they have to work together to reach the leader’s vision which had become their own vision too. Getting ready to work won’t be harder with a passionate leader, than come to the work only for counting the end of day.

It's sad but true - money does not necessarily buy you happiness! However, getting enjoyment out of your work environment and being able to work for someone who is passionate about what they do can be truly inspirational.

In these days of arrant competition in the work-place, how many of those wonderfully highly paid individuals ever really get to enjoy their astronomical salaries? Rarely, I would think, because, they are working all the time. Once they have reached the upper echelons of their career (when it comes to remuneration), it is a constant battle to remain at the top and there is intense pressure on them to continue performing so as to continue earning.

Working for someone who truly believes in what they do, who is knowledgeable about every aspect of their business and who takes a personal interest in their staff, encouraging and mentoring them, is the kind or role model in the work place that is rarer than hen's teeth. If you find yourself working for one of these, learn everything you can from them and make the very best of a unique opportunity because, if you learn from someone who is passionate and inspirational about what they do, you too can become that person for the next generation - and what a tremendous gift that is. What you learn from them will long outlast the money in your pay packet at the end of the month.

''All the money can buy, is cheap.'' -Erich Maria Reamrque In this world of materialism, we often forget what really matters. When comparing passionate leaders and higher income, in a way, we are comparing two different styles of leadership. My opinion is that we should choose passionate leader because he is the one who will motivate and enourage his employees and actually make them want to come to work. Stress and work pressure would be minimized as much as possible because everyone's minds wouldn't be focused just on reaching certain amount of money. The thing about money is that even if we earn a fortune, our happiness and content would be temporary and after that we would still fell empty and unsatisfied. That's why we should always choose passionate leaders because then our life wouldn't be determined by our bank account and our profession. Our job would be just a part of our lives which makes us feel good about ourselves, not miserable.

Being a young professional, I come to this dilemma every now and then. It is difficult to make such a decision because without a doubt money is important. However, my choice is the passionate leader and the reason is quite simple - we spent more than one third of the day working. So what will be the result if the only motivation for going to work is your salary? Frustration, depression, lower self-esteem and so on.

On the other hand, a successful leader will be able to provoke interest, to increase the productivity of the team but not disrespecting personal needs of its members. What else makes me so certain in my view is the believing that if you are interested and focused on your job, at some point these will result in a higher income.

Passionate leaders can contribute to any follower’s personal and professional development phenomenally. There is no objective answer as to personal and professional growth being valued higher than a high income. The answer to this again is subjective. If a follower prefers to have a career of learning and development, it shall be under their own discretion that they choose so. If a follower chooses to have a higher income, it shall again be under their own discretion to do so. One cannot objectively state that the choice was right or wrong.
